I grew up in Chicago IL surrounded by experts in the musical arts. After being a sound board operator for local events I apprenticed to Richard Penrod and Andrew (Ellis) Clark, both production professionals and experts in their respective fields. Under them I was the Lead Sound Designer for multiple productions utilizing over twenty individual vocals and a full live orchestra in a single production.

Even with the amazing opportunities I enjoyed, my favorite moments were when I would be in the auditorium alone and be able to pull open "Bohemian Rapsody" or "Some Nights" and play them from the speakers, tweaking EQ and effects until the sound was perfect, then laying on the ground and letting the music wash over me. That feeling of euphoria from listening to perfectly mixed sound is what I chase for every track I mix and master so that everyone who listens to the song will not just hear but feel the message the artist wants to convey in their souls. That moment of clarity where every instrument is in the correct place and every signal is clear and crisp brings me perfect peace.
